PostHeaderIcon Golf Swing Basics Need to Cover the Fundamentals

There are many online resources claiming to help you with golf swing basics. They will explain how to hold the club, what movements to make and how to ensure the best quality shot. However, when most people try to follow these types of instructions they do not find them very easy to complete.

The instructions are normally clear enough and so you know exactly what you should be doing but executing is not always easy. You can practice over and over again and sometimes it will just seem as if the shot is not a natural movement for your body. You may find that your arms just do not seem to want to move the club properly or your body does not seem to be able to move in the desired way.

Making sure to learn the proper grip, stance, posture and ball position will give you a huge headstart.

You may have assumed that it is because you just have not practiced enough and you need to work harder. However, have you considered that it might be a physical limitation? If you are new to golf then the muscles that you use during the swing action are likely to not be that strong. You may not have used them very much before and so they could be quite weak.

This means that it is much more difficult to carry out the required swing action as you will not have the desirable flexibility. Also you may find that those muscles tire as you play a round of golf and your shots get worse as the game goes on. So before you look at golf swing basics and consider changing your technique, look into your physical fitness and see whether that can be improved.
